Is there anyone in Washington County that has a vacant house in the country they would rent to a older, responsible single man with a decent job for a reasonable price? Rent in this area is so high, even in the "not so great" places.
I've been living and working here for about 7 years, and travel the county a lot for my job.
I see a lot of what appear to be, vacant houses all over this county, and they have never appeared to have any activity other than the yards being mowed, since I've lived and worked here.
If you read this, and know of someone who has a place that is not being used, maybe needs some maintenance but is still livable, and wants someone they can be confident will treat the place right, to stay there and just watch and take care of the place, with and this is the most important part, REASONABLE rent, please refer them to me.
I would prefer a wood frame house, mobile home, old store, I not real picky, just need an affordable and decent, somewhat private living space.
Rent is so expensive, and I despise living in a shoe box apartment, with horrible neighbors for half my paycheck each month.
So, in desperation I reach out though craigslist of all things to try and find some decent living space for myself.
There are houses on SH105, FM1155, and around Independance area.
It is my belief that a house that is not lived in deteriorates a lot quicker than one being used.
