Looking for Daily Driver

Good Morning, I'm looking for a cheap cash in hand daily driver.
Not particular about the make and model.
I just want it to be dependable for daily work commutes.
I'm looking for something in the $800-1k range.
Where the basics are functioning; ie lights, turn signals, no motor knocking or transmission slipping.
If anyone is selling a vehicle or knows someone selling a vehicle please let me know.
I'm nearer to somerville area.
