Narrow Way Energy, LLC is a solar construction company and is searching for a Skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for solar projects.
The operator's duties will include:
Preparing, inspecting, and operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dump trucks and/or marookas, maintainers, dozers, forklifts, skid steers, and other such equipment.
They must be able to ensure the proper use of heavy equipment to ensure that the projects are completed accurately and safely.
They will be required to work with a spotter and other team members.
They need to be able to communicate clearly and efficiently with the crew on hand.
Loading and offloading,
Trenching and grading,
Observing safety codes,
Reporting injuries and any other accidents,
Advising the manager on any upgrades, repairs, and replacements the equipment might need,
Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.
Minimum requirements for this job:
Valid Drivers License.
Pass drug test.
Bending and Lifting.
A sound understanding of safety guidelines.
Capacity to provide and follow directions.
Decision-making skills, especially when under pressure.
Ability to work extended hours as needed.
Job Compensation:
Overtime is offered after 40 hours at time and a half.
