*Position Overview:* We are seeking skilled and motivated Commercial Driver's License (CDL) holders to join our dynamic team of professionals as Highway Construction CDL Drivers.
As a vital member of our crew, you will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality road resurfacing solutions to communities across Texas.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Safely operate and maneuver specialized highway construction vehicles, including dump trucks and other equipment, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with fellow team members to efficiently execute road resurfacing projects according to project plans and specifications.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition and addressing any maintenance needs.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked for each project.
* Communicate effectively with superintendents, fellow drivers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
* Uphold our company's commitment to safety by consistently following established safety protocols and guidelines.
* Participate in regular training and skill development opportunities to enhance job proficiency and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Tanker endorsement beneficial).
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, as project demands require.
* Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work in various weather conditions.
* Must reside within one hour of Giddings office location.
*Travel and Work Schedule:*
* This position requires out-of-town travel from Monday to Friday to project sites across Texas.
Hotels and meals are all covered when working out-of-town.
* Typical work weeks are 60+ hours, and employees are compensated for overtime hours worked.
