Laborer

*RESPONSIBILITIES* *Essential Functions* * Perform a variety of labor tasks related to erosion control, loading and unloading materials, traffic control, project cleanliness, material assembly and installation.
* Safely operate a variety of hand tools including cutting tools, knives, hammers, shovels, rakes, saws and brooms.
* Safely use ladders & fall protection and restraint systems * Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies.
* Cleans tools, equipment, materials, and the work area.
* Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor.
* Know Company safety policies and adhere to them while working at all times.
* Always properly use the appropriate PPE for intended use and application.
*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES* * Effective listening skills and ability to follow directions * Ability to effectively manage time and project deadlines.
* The ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously and in an accurate and timely manner.

*QUALIFICATIONS* * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid driver’s license * Previous construction experience preferred but not required * Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Constant time spent working on feet.
* Occasional work above or below ground * The Employee must be able to work and adapt to outside temperature fluctuations such as the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter months.
