Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems, diagnose malfunctions, and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements.
Communicate with customers to explain system issues, proposed solutions, and associated costs, ensuring transparency and addressing any concerns.
Create sales opportunities for senior level technicians or sales team members and promote the company's HVAC products and services to customers.
Offer multi-option improvements and solutions to customer concerns.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities during service visits and effectively communicate those opportunities to customers.
Provide accurate and detailed estimates and quotes for repair or replacement services, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
Follow up with customers to answer questions, address concerns, and aid with scheduling necessary repairs or installations.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's products, services, and pricing to effectively educate customers and promote value-added solutions.
Keep detailed records of service calls, customer interactions, and sales opportunities using appropriate software or CRM systems.
COMPETENCIES Active HVAC Technician registration with the State of Texas, preferred EPA Certified, preferred Maintain a clean driving record & keep a valid driver's license Be absent of drug use.
Customer Service/Communication Skills Problem-Solving Skills On-site training and continued education will be provided EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A high school diploma or equivalent PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Standing, bending, climbing, sitting, small crawl spaces and heights Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking Must be able to lift at least 50lbs Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting Requires the ability to raise, manipulate and maneuver tools, components and materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
