```Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team who is an Apprentice Electrician with 2-3 years experience.
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work alongside other apprentice electricians and a Master Electrician to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical trade.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about electrical work and eager to learn from industry professionals.
This apprenticeship will be a combination of 40 hour work weeks as well as at home study to fully understand Electrical Theory, Code Requirements, and Best Practices.
This apprenticeship is geared to ultimately prepare an apprentice to take and pass the Texas State Journeyman Electrician Exam.
Wage is negotiable based upon verifiable work experience with previous electrical contractors.
Duties:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform electrical tasks
- Learn and apply electrical codes and regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely
- Bending Conduit, Pulling Wire, Making up Devices, etc.
Experience:
- Previous experience or knowledge of electrical work is required
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade
- Knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems is required
- Exposure to high voltage and low voltage systems is required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
- Experience bending conduit is preferred, but not required.
