Additive at Scale is a Technology Center located in College Station, Texas.
We are new to the Brazos Valley and have state-of-the-art equipment and machinery.
We are currently hiring injection molding and additive manufacturing (3D Printing) machine operators.
We are looking for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment doing machine set-ups, changeovers, tool changes, material loading, maintenance, assembly, etc.

e.
machining, casting, molding, joining, shearing, forming, 3D printing).
· Must have hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools.
· Knowledgeable in plastics, metals, and material selection.
· Must be skilled at job set-ups and changeovers.
Preferred Qualifications: · GED or High School Diploma · Willingness for on-going training Physical Requirements: · Ability to work in an industrial warehouse which may include elevated noise levels and heavy machinery that are subject to high temperatures and pressures.
· Ability to use overhead cranes, forklifts, or jibs to lift production tools in and out of machines.
· Ability to operate forklift and/or pallet jack for shipping and receiving.
· Ability to move up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Ability to effectively communicate both orally, digitally, and in writing.
· Ability to interact with engineers, supervisors, and clients positively and professionally.
· Ability to work hands on with tools and/or assist with machine maintenance.
· Ability to follow post processing and assembly instructions for manufactured goods.
Equipment: · JM-88 Mark 6, JM-208 Mark 6, and Borche 560 – Injection Molding Machines.
· High Speed Extrusion Machines – 3D Printers · Material Driers, Thermolators, Air Compressors, Water Pumps – Auxiliary Equipment · Overhead crane and/or jib crane.
· Forklift and/or pallet jack · Hand/power tools · Standard office equipment: computer, keyboard, multifunctional printer, telephone.

Essential Duties, Tasks, and Percentages: · Maintains safe and clean working environment by learning and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Responsible for changeovers, tooling cleanouts, storage, and mold changes.
· Responsible for machine setup, material loading, bed leveling, nozzle purging, and executing manufacturing processes.
· Assisting in the set-up of new manufacturing jobs for sampling of prototype tools or production tools.
· Ensures safe operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
· Removes defective parts from machine and works closely with Quality Assurance Manager, Production Manager, or Lead Engineer to document failures or misprints.
· Prepare and operate machine for repetitive manufacturing processes, carrying out pre-programmed processes stored on the machine controller for made-to-order parts.
· Prepare and operate machine for discrete manufacturing processes, assembling parts from a fixed bill of materials that are easily distinguishable for made-to-order parts.
· Prepare and operate machines for job shop manufacturing, 3D printing prototypes, small batches, and wide variety of custom parts.
· Exhibits and demonstrates technical skills needed to safely execute manufacturing of injection molded and 3D printed parts.
· Reports unsafe or dangerous conditions to the Production Manager or Lead Engineer · Heavily involved in startups and shutdowns, as well as troubleshooting machine errors.
· Very passionate and involved in the continuous improvement of operations and quality of goods and services.
· Insists on having high standards, prefers a challenge, and sets a good example.
