Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held organization, with roots firmly planted in agriculture and agriculture-related businesses.
We are a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture, including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertilizer manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development, and distribution.
Summary
Simplot Grower Solutions Summer Operations Internships involve working directly with retail locations and production plant operations.
After a week of training and orientation, each Intern will be paired with a seasoned Location Manager mentor.
Interns will assist their mentors as well as other locations in the area in their daily activities.
Opportunities to attend educational field days and meetings are common during the summer and interns are encouraged to attend.
Interaction with growers is an integral aspect of a retail location and interns will often be a part of that interaction.
Our motto at Simplot is “One Simplot” meaning we are all in this together.
On occasion, interns could be asked to assist Crop Advisors with tasks to help “get the job done”.
Simplot has the solution to the seed, crop protection, and crop nutrition needs of growers.
