*Responsibilities Include:* * Work independently alongside the lead estimator and salesman.
* Complete all training milestones.
* Conduct phone consultations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
* Conduct on-site consultations with clients at their property to determine their needs and wants.
* Analyze existing site conditions such as vegetation, elevation, hardscape materials, lighting, irrigation, etc.
* Work closely with designers and design staff.
* Calculate accurate cost estimates for projects by creating proposals with labor, material, equipment, and written specifications.
* Provide estimates to clients in a timely manner, 100% of the time.
* Present in-person proposals to clients.
* Conduct follow-ups for pending proposals.
* Sell designs and projects to meet the company’s weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Stay up to date with materials and best practices in the landscape construction industry.
* Train in leadership and team management skills to advance in the role.
* Learn and become proficient with estimating software.
* Maintain updated pricing and templates in estimating software.
* Participate in weekly department meetings.
* Participate in quarterly State of the Company meetings.
* Develop and maintain excellent professional relationships with every member of the company.
* Assist every department towards total company success.
* Track and report sales data.
