What You Will Do
Part-time position under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager.
Performs skilled professional work in the management and operation of IT department related duties.
Responsible for monitoring the Help Desk and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Monitor and resolve incoming IT issues through company specific Help Desk system.
Escalate unresolvable tickets to IT Manager.
Assist with the configuration, installations, upgrades and maintenance, service, and inventory of laptops/desktops, printers, scanners, telephones, and other IT related equipment (i.
e.
, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc.
).
Assist with onboarding new users.
End-user hardware and software support in a windows-based environment.
Perform preventative maintenance on use hardware.
Track and maintain equipment inventories.
Travel to model homes for onsite IT support.
Travel will be minimal.
Ability to work with minimum direction and as a team player.
Flexibility/Ability to work with all departments effectively to support additional projects and workload as needed.
IT Technician is expected to be available at minimum Monday-Friday from 9am to 3pm.
Telecommuting is not an available options for this role.
Perform other duties as assigned, be flexible.
What You Will Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of technical computer experience with Windows Operating Systems
Valid Driver's License; required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
