Qualifications:
Previous experience (1-3 years) within an industrial environment as a maintenance technician.
Experience with Injection Molding and/or Extrusion Equipment a plus but not required.
Operate and maintain all DC and AC electrical control systems including electrical motor and drive systems.
Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing of simple to complex control systems utilizing PLC’s.
Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (control and 480 V).
Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings and schematics.
Basic knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, and pumping systems.
Excellent safety and attendance record.
Ability to provide personal hand tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.
Other duties may be assigned
Welding and brazing of materials
Select and uses different lubrication products
Assemble, repair and modify power transmission equipment
Select, maintain and install bearings
Maintain and install pumps
Layout and installation of piping and tubing systems
Understand and assist in trouble shooting basic electrical systems
Use electrical measuring and diagnostic equipment
Experience or Training Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience within an industrial environment as a maintenance technician
