Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team.
As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in various construction projects.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine electrical requirements
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan and execute electrical installations
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure longevity and efficiency
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Skills:
- Proficient in construction management software such as HeavyBid, Primavera, or similar programs
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating and contract management
- Ability to supervise and lead a team of electricians
- Excellent blueprint reading skills
- Solid understanding of electrical principles and codes
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician license/certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Journeyperson Electrician
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment related to electrical work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
