*Job Description*
As a commercial journeyman plumber, you will be responsible for supporting engineering and fabrication process as well as installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used in commercial or public sites.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist Journeyman/Journeywoman plumbers with various tasks on job sites
* Apply plumbing techniques and procedures under the guidance of experienced plumbers
* Install plumbing systems in commercial buildings
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
* Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications
* Perform basic math calculations to measure, cut, and bend pipe accurately
* Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks
* Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
*Qualifications*
* Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with tools and equipment
* Basic math skills for measuring, cutting and bending pipes accurately
* Familiarity with power tools used in plumbing installations
* Must be able to pass pre-hire screening process (drug test/background)
