We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Utility Foreman to join our team.
The Construction Utility Foreman will be responsible for overseeing utility construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utility construction and a proven track record of leadership and project management.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate utility construction projects, including excavation, trenching, pipe laying, and installation of utility systems such as water, sewer, and gas lines.
Plan and schedule work assignments, ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met.
Train and mentor construction crew members, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of work sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project expenses and track materials and equipment usage to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Prepare progress reports and communicate project status updates to management and clients.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of construction projects.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, timesheets, and equipment maintenance records.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in construction management is preferred.
