Concrete Superintendent Assistant

Responsibilities: Understand and proficiently execute concrete work procedures.
Ability to interpret and explain construction plans to ensure accurate execution.
Preferably possess field experience in construction, particularly in concrete work.
Conduct thorough inspections of prep work conducted by concrete crews before concrete placement.
Coordinate with the Concrete Superintendent for pouring schedules to align with concrete plant availability and project timelines.
Verify all quantities post-pour, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Maintain regular communication with the concrete foreman regarding equipment needs and material requirements on-site.
Attend and actively participate in on-site pours, ensuring quality control standards are met.
Compile and submit daily diaries detailing project progress and take photographs of work completed in the field.
Uphold integrity and professionalism in all aspects of work.
Qualifications: Solid understanding of concrete work techniques and practices.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans.
Previous experience in the construction field, with a preference for experience in concrete work.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess work quality.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
