• Performing the operation and continues function of a rotational molding machine, producing plastic components conforming to customer and company specifications.
Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare molds by cleaning them, adding inserts and other components.
· Assist in loading and unloading molds.
· Basic platform operation.
· Maintain safe and clean working conditions.
· Cutting filters/refill.
· Filling material in staging buckets with correct mixtures to ensure quality.
· Staging and preparing for production runs.
· Trimming excess flash from products.
· Foaming products.
· Assembling products.
· Promote Company Core Values.
· Refill inserts.
· Double-check molds before sending arm.
· Clean molds.
· PLC controls, Power on/off, Burner control, Load /unload recipes Etc.

· Maintain expected manufacturing quantity requirements.
· Run one machine alone.
· Keep track of rotations.
· Knowledge of set up of cooling jig, cut and/or trim fixtures, saws, testing equipment etc.
· Load/ Unload tooling from spider, Balance arm and proper application of mold release
Troubleshoots processing problems as they arise.
· Able to run all machines independently
· Knowledge of ERP input procedures (completion’s, scrap etc.
)
· Sets rotation, cycle time, IRT perimeter’s, cooling controls and analyzes process control data.
· Basic understanding of plastics prosses material (PE, XLPE,)
· Knowledge of Set up/ operations of granulator, Pulverized scrap reclaim system
· Knowledge of Robotic trimming station set up and run.
· Set up and safe operation of Ice blaster system.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Solid background in plastic manufacturing environment.
· 2+ years’ experience.
· Knowledge of manufacturing operation and quality processes preferred.
· Mechanical aptitude required.
· Ability to work safely, efficiently, and effectively at a rapid pace.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to work with hand tools.
· Ability to maintain a clean work area.
· Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
· Ability to read blueprints and process setup sheets.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Monitor safety and quality.
· Has a very good understanding of rotational molds, materials, and machinery.
· Ability to trouble shoot molding issues.
· Ability to recommend tool modifications.
Educational Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent or work-experience equivalent.
Work Environment:
· Majority of time spent will be in a factory setting.
· There are minimal offensive smells, vapors, or noises.
· There may be exposure to extreme heat.

Salary
$15 - $16 per hour
