JOB DETAILS
This position will work closely with the Maintenance department to execute the work required to complete tasks as assigned, with an emphasis on the repair, maintenance, and standardization of the various cart models used within Production.
This position will report to the Maintenance Manager.
Set up and maintain a safe, efficient, and organized workspace using the 5S principles
Read and follow work instructions and/or drawings
Always demonstrate the safe use of hand and power tools
Use hand and power tools in the repair and standardization of various production carts
Maintain an inventory of tools and parts
Log daily work performed and other information as required
Report daily to the Engineering Department
Be willing to take on other special assignments as required
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED from accredited institution
Ability to pass a background and drug test
Minimum 1-year experience using basic hand and power tools
Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Positive attitude and ability to work well with individuals in all levels of the organization
Experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or repair environment
Extensive experience with basic hand and power tools
Experience using a tape measure and calipers
Welding/light fabrication experience
