Knife River has an excellent opportunity for a Concrete Finisher to float and finish concrete to a final acceptable condition; meeting Owner/TXDOT requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
-Must meet Knife River-South employment standards with regards to background/MVR checks.
-Must be able to work overtime and be flexible with hours (day time/night time).
-Ability to work outside in all seasons.
-Must have a “safety first” attitude.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required.
Preferred Requirements:
-A valid Driver’s License is preferred.
-3 years minimum experience in construction concrete or bridge building, is preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Timely and regular attendance is essential.
-Maintain safe worksite and correct any unsafe conditions including tools and equipment.
-Be able to safely and properly spread concrete using shovels, rakes, etc.
-Be able to operate concrete vibrator to consolidate concrete.
-Be able to perform special finishes or surface treatments including coloring powder.
-Communicate effectively and be a team player.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
-Timely and regular attendance is essential.
