Production Planner Sr.

This role will lead in the development of a daily production build schedule that meets the company's safety, quality, delivery and inventory objectives.
The Production Planner, Sr.
plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between customer demand and production capabilities.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Uses discretion to respond to safety situations within the office and production floor environment.
Supports company quality policy to achieve company objectives: Responds in a timely fashion, understands the impact and works to minimize the negative impact of quality red lights, production and shipping holds Actively leads production line recovery teams by managing material streams for raw components, sub-assemblies and finished goods and communicates via Recovery Communication Process Uses independent judgement commensurate with experience to support assigned product line: Reviews and ensures accuracy of the daily production signal to the manufacturing floor in order to meet company's service level objectives Resolves production issues in a timely fashion Monitors material availability and communicates as appropriate to procurement and production Analyzes delays and interruptions, and recommends adjustments to the production schedule to meet deadlines Communicates production delays with internal customers Analyze and responds to service level and inventory metrics and leads continuous improvements projects Represents the group on NPD projects as Single Point of Contact Represents the group on ECO implementations and works to reduce impact on inventory and service level Supports business system upgrades, patches and site migrations using global standards.
Leads or participates in cross-functional project improvements and represents the P&IC departmental goals and objectives.
Create global training documents, work instructions, department procedures, process flow diagrams Actively participate in Kaizen events and lean process improvements.
Other duties as assigned.

Seeks ways to improve processes, from small tweaks to complete reengineering.
Is effective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.
Follows through on commitments and makes sure others do the same.
Acts with a clear sense of ownership.
Steers through the organizational maze to get things done.
For This Role, You Will Need: Two years of planning and scheduling experience Experience working in a manufacturing environment Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, etc.
