location, you will be responsible for the daily operations to lead workplace safety, quality assurance, operation production, shipments, inventory, distribution of goods, analyzes statistics and presents findings to customers and higher management.
The role plans, runs, and implements schedules to meet targets and maintains a high quality of product production and delivery, whilst always ensuring workplace safety.
This overarching role also calls for strong functional skills in matrix management across all levels of the business in taking care of multiple functions to ensure the sites overall business is successful.
This position is for first shift Monday through Friday with hours from 7 am to 4 pm.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: Manage a team of Production Supervisors and their employees.
Be responsible for maintaining and enhancing safety within the production organization.
Lead all aspects of quality and ensure adherence to ISO, DOT and IATA standards.
Lead staffing to meet customer demand and to meet business metrics like service level and productivity.
Handle cost and budgets consistent with financial objectives.
Be a liaison between production and other departments like: Engineering, Safety/EHS, and HR.
Be a mentor and a coach to production staff and provide regular feedback as well as annual reviews.
Lead and participate in Process Improvement projects to improve key performance indicators (KPI's) Be required to handle time and workload effectively to meet tight deadlines and targets.

You deal constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent Minimum 3 years of relevant production management or supervision experience.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with strong experience in working in a matrix organization.
