We are currently looking for an experienced technician to join our Irrigation Department.
The ideal candidate will have the right attitude and mix of customer service skills, irrigation experience, and a desire to provide the best in quality of service.

What you'd be responsible for…
Installing, adjusting, repairing and replacing irrigation systems.
Performing preventative maintenance on irrigation and sprinkler systems; checking systems for proper operation to quickly locate and repairing broken pipes or irrigation heads to reduce water loss and assure proper operation of systems.
Adjusting, reseting, repairing or replacing irrigation controller and/or valves.
Programming, monitoring and adjusting computer controlled irrigation systems.
Operating irrigation truck, trencher, backhoe and other mechanical equipment used in the operation, repair and maintenance of systems.
Maintaining a stock of repair parts, irrigation heads, tools and other components and supplies used in the work.
Makes periodic inventory of supplies and notifies supervisor of needed materials.
Compiling and preparing necessary maps, reports and records.
Communicating irrigation evaluations to Maven administrative staff.
May be required to perform strenuous work in a variety of weather conditions including high heat conditions.
What skills we're looking for…
Working knowledge of components of irrigation systems including pipe, pumps, irrigation heads, valves, controllers and other parts.
Basic knowledge of computers and communication cable hookups used in the operation of the irrigation system.
Ability to make simple electrical repairs.
Ability to operate irrigation trenchers, backhoes, trucks and other necessary hand and mechanical equipment.
Ability to perform manual labor required to dig trenches, install pipe and valves.
Ability to remove and replace turf, shrubs and plants without damage as needed in system installation, repair and maintenance.
Other requirements…
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work overtime and/or be on call.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
