Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent education in a related field
Technical background in engineering design and/or related experience
computer experience - spreadsheet/charting, word processing and Auto CAD preferred
Ability to read and comprehend Engineering drawings required
Job Duties:
Develop, configure and optimize production processes from inception through to start up and certification
Review design documents, routings and Bill of Materials (BoM) and make necessary changes
Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
Work closely with manufacturing on improving process and implementing necessary process controls
develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
Analyze and manager cost along with the time constraints.
Make recommendations to management
Perform risk assessments
Provide process documentation and operating/work instructions.
Read and write technical/engineering specifications, perform technical calculations and perform process simulations.
