Commercial Estimator

*Commercial Estimator* ACME Glass is seeking an experienced estimator for our commercial glazing department.
*Duties* (to include, but not limited to) * Understand and interpret architectural drawings * Evaluate potential projects to determine requirements * Create shop drawings * Determine cost estimates and proposals * Formulate bid strategy for projects * Communicate directly with contractors * Work with architects to resolve issues * Order materials * Manage multiple estimating projects concurrently * Generate close out documents * Produce monthly draws & billing summaries *Skills* Preferred: 5 years experience in commercial glazing Efficient at working through tasks with great attention to detail Organization and prioritization skills required to determine the most important task at any given time.
Maintain a clean workspace Highly motivated Time management, ability to meet deadlines Experience working with relevant software (CAD, PDF Architect, etc.
