Engineering Intern

*POSITION SUMMARY* Work with engineering team to support initiatives and projects.
Perform duties as assigned, including, but not limited to: Update component, product, and other engineering drawings Quality Investigations First article inspections Bill of Material Creation Update product patterns Create and maintain standard operating procedures for manufacturing or production processes.
Write work instructions, create instructional videos, etc.
Create and maintain preventative maintenance procedures and forms Create and maintain engineering and manufacturing improvement projects, such as 5S or other lean manufacturing philosophies Other projects and duties as assigned by supervisor or officer of the company.
*REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES* · 2 years of college level courses in Engineering / Engineering Technology program or equivalent experience · Proficient with CAD software (Solidworks and/or Autocad preferred) · Ability to write clear procedures in a style understood by intended audience with accurate spelling and grammar · Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all work · Good organizational skills · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word and Excel · Self-Motivated *PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES* · Previous manufacturing exposure · Previous general work experience · Ability to work with variety of hand and lab tools Job Types: Part-time, Internship Pay: $15.
