SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Director is responsible for all manufacturing operations and activities at Imperative.
The role develops and implements manufacturing strategies and plans and provides leadership and direction to the Regional Manufacturing Managers.
The Manufacturing Director is responsible for developing plant people, process, and operational capabilities to meet cost, quality, and reliability requirements as well as for ensuring safe, sustainable operations that are compliant with all Imperative and government policies and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure manufacturing plants have capability and capacity to meet business requirements for blends and reacted products.
Approve manufacturing budgets based on forecast production and manage manufacturing costs to meet business targets.
Ensure manufacturing personnel receive proper workplace operations and safety training and have clear work instructions to perform work safely and effectively.
Provide leadership to drive safety excellence in manufacturing operations eliminating injuries, serious process incidents and releases of chemicals to the environment.
Ensure safety and environmental incidents are reported, investigated, and corrective actions implemented to prevent recurrence per Imperative safety guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all applicable workplace safety, process safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.
Manage corrective and preventive maintenance at manufacturing sites to optimize reliability, onstream, safety, and cost.
Develop and manage Manufacturing KPIs for HSE, Cost, Efficiency, and Quality to measure performance and drive continuous improvement and Operational Excellence.
Approve Manufacturing capital investment plans and ensure Hazard Analysis is conducted for chemical process related capital projects to ensure hazard identification and awareness and to eliminate or mitigate risk.
Ensure process changes to manufacturing processes are reviewed to identify and manage risks.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
At least 10 years of experience in chemical process technology or manufacturing processes.
At least 5 years manufacturing or production supervision experience.
Oil and gas chemicals service industry experience is preferred.

Broad HSE knowledge including worker safety, process safety, transportation safety, product safety and environmental management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI is strongly desired.
Systems thinker who understands how to drive to the root cause of recurring issues and develop processes, tools, and controls to solve them.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
