Welder

Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding specifications - Operate power tools and welding equipment to perform various types of welding, including FCAW and stick welding - Fabricate and assemble metal structures, components, according to project requirements - Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet industry standards and project specifications - Conduct basic math calculations to measure, cut, and shape metal materials - Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work assignments - Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements: - Proven experience as a welder, with expertise in various welding techniques - Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings - Familiarity with power tools, pipe threading, and basic machining processes - Strong knowledge of welding safety procedures and practices - Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material preparation - Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
