Who we are
Facilities Management, in the Division of Operations, is an emerging department which coordinates and provides follow up on the maintenance, custodial, grounds, and utilities & energy services of the campus-built environment to support the teaching and research mission of the university.
Facility Management is a service focused department and will be the initial point of contact for all facilities related requests from maintenance to access on TAMU buildings, infrastructure, and amenities under the oversight of TAMU.

We are seeking Utilities Line Technicians with various levels of experience.
Individuals with very little experience are encouraged to apply, as well as those with multiple years of experience.

Senior Utilities Line Technician:
Requires high school or equivalent and 5 years of experience in overhead and underground electrical distribution system maintenance and operation
Responsible for installing and servicing high voltage distribution systems
Valid Class B drivers license or ability to obtain within 6 months
Pay Range - $29.
33 to $37.

Utilities Line Technician:
Requires high school or equivalent and 3 years of experience in overhead and underground electrical distribution system maintenance and operation
Responsible for installing and servicing high voltage distribution systems.
Valid Class B drivers license or ability to obtain within 6 months
Pay Range - $28.
84 - $31.
73 per hour
Utilities Line Technician Assistant:
Requires high school or equivalent and 1 year of related experience in general electrical, or electronics
Under supervision, receives training and assists in installing and maintaining high voltage distribution systems.
Valid Class B drivers license or ability to obtain within 6 months
Pay Range: $25.
08 - $27.
59 per hour
