The position of Carpenter performs a variety of tasks related to general construction projects.
Please note this is a traveling role.
Essential Functions: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements Capacity to take measurements and calculate resources needed to perform and complete task or project Fabricate, cut, shape and install wood and other material according to specifications Provide quality workmanship with attention to detail Operate hand tools, performing all work in a safe manner Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Skilled in general carpentry Solid knowledge and experience in working with carpentry materials Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Good understanding of basic math Be at least 18 years of age Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, stand, walk for prolonged period of time Able to follow directions and work safely.

Ability to reach and grip constantly Ability to stoop and kneel frequently Ability to climb, balance, crouch, and crawl occasionally The employee must be able to lift and/or carry 0-25 pounds consistently, 24-75 pounds frequently, 75+ pounds occasionally The employee must be able to stand and/or walk at least eight hours per day.
Constant time spent working on feet.
Occasional work above or below ground.
The Employee must be able to work and adapt to outside temperature fluctuations such as the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter months.
