Company Overview Livestock Nutrition Center specializes in blending customized rations, supplements and premixes to meet the specific nutritional needs of Livestock Producer's operations.
We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements.
Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Guiding Principle Our focus is to provide customized feeding programs, nutritional products, and expert service to livestock producers that promote their long-term success and profitability.
Position Summary The Fulfilment Management Trainee will learn and train to be a Location Fulfilment Manager.
Trainee will learn and understand Operations, Logistics, Personnel, and Market Area Sales.
Results will be achieved by working through our Production and Sales Teams.
The Fulfillment Trainee will have a comprehensive training program to follow and a specific project to complete.
Responsibilities and Duties Understand, implement, and strictly enforce all LNC Safety and Compliance procedures at the facility.
Support the Operations team in the facilitation of QA/QC programs, including FSMA compliance.
Become knowledgeable about the daily operations of the facility.
Impactful and hands-on work, contributing to the needs of the business.
Working towards achieving personal and directed goals, which will help you with your long-term career path.
Assist with the selection and hiring of all hourly production personnel at the facility and support cross-functional hiring.
Involved with Capital Improvement Plans at the facility.
Assist with assuring timely ordering and receiving of ingredients for production needs by communicating daily and weekly ingredient needs to the Procurement team.
Assist in management of raw material inventories to assure accurate measurements, control shrink and maintain product in merchantable condition.
Evaluation of space utilization of the warehouse.
Assist with coordination of staffing and production schedules, including hours of operation and scheduled maintenance downtimes, between production and sales teams.
Set and achieve production goals for efficiency and on-time delivery.
Coordinate feed delivery schedules with Production and Sales teams.
Understand how to give direction to the accounting team to assure an efficient and timely workflow from the facility to accounting in Memphis and Overland Park.
Learn how to set and achieve retention goals for Production personnel at the facility.
Identify opportunities for mentorship and cross-training.
Promote cross-functional teamwork amongst sales, accounting, merchandising, and operations teams.
Manage employee performance, including developing personnel and coaching underperforming employees.
Have a general understanding of the market drivers in the local market.
Work with the Regional Fulfillment Manager and Sales Leader to achieve sales goals in the local marketplace.
Set and achieve customer satisfaction goals.
Maintain a general knowledge of products marketed through the plant.
Work with the Sales team and customer base on all quality issues and develop plans to correct such issues.
Ensure the facility's appearance and all personnel professionally always represent LNC.
Support and lead the Mission, Vision, and Values of LNC.
Requirements and Qualifications Degree in Animal Science, Ag Technology, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
Years of experience will be taken under consideration.
High level of work ethic and integrity.
High level of computer skills.
High level of Customer Service and Team Appreciation Must have a safety mindset and ability to maintain safe working environment.
Must be able to work in a team environment and independently on occasion.
Capable of comprehending LNC manufacturing processes.
Clean DMV driving record.
Must have good oral, written, and computer skills.
Must have a positive attitude.
Be able to relocate to another LNC facility after training is complete.
