Assembly Manager

*Company Overview:* Texas Fabrication Company is a mass production metal fabrication company experiencing rapid growth located in Bellville, TX.
We manufacture after market automotive products for our own brands as well as many other companies.
We are currently seeking an Assembly Manager to own, manage, and grow the entire assembly and QC side of our business.
In the beginning you will be helping to perform the assembly to learn the products and develop the processes and procedures.
Very quickly it will be to build the team and help grow the business.
*Job Description:* * Oversight of daily work performed by all Assembly Technicians and other Quality Control areas as assigned from time to time.
* Responsible for people development of all team members under their organization.
* Responsible for development and maintaining a staffing plan and schedule.
* Responsible for creating and maintaining assembly documentation for each product.
* Responsible for training staff on the assembly of each product.
* Responsible for development and implementation of all business continuity activity for their assigned areas.
* Responsible for maintenance of all equipment under their supervision to include outage schedules, routine maintenance tasks, break/fix and proposed upgrades/enhancements.
* Responsible for understanding sales forecasts to ensure reasonable delivery of finished products.
* Responsible for meeting all committed deadlines related to finished goods production.
* Co-develop systems and processes with peers to ensure finished parts, third party parts and consumables are available.
* Ensure safe work environments exist for all work centers under purview.
*Requirements:* * Bachelor’s degree in Business Management preferred.
* 4+ years manufacturing experience * Good knowledge manufacturing best practices * Ability to develop and maintain operational processes * Excellent people management and development skills * Excellent team participation and interaction skills * Excellent Oral communication skills * Excellent Written communication skills * Excellent Time Management skills * Good Presentation Skills (Design, written and verbal).
