*POSITION SUMMARY:*
Seeking Industrial Electricians for our maintenance department having experience with 480 Volt 3 phase systems, troubleshooting, controls, one-line schematics, conduit bending and installation, some work with PLC’s, VFD’s, Soft Starters, control panel assembly and compliance with NEC and 70E will be helpful.
*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:*
* Troubleshooting ability in continuous processing setting
* Good understanding of 480 Volt 3 phase systems, AC/DC control wiring, AC motors
* Recognize electrical hazards and understanding how to read an arc-flash label
* Maintain electrical systems equipment to meet regulatory codes at federal, state and local level
* Able to read electrical schematics
* Perform conduit bending and installation, including but not limited to EMT, IMC, Rigid
* Must be physically capable of performing work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts and roofs
* Perform installation and maintenance work as part of a team of skilled trade workers
* Must be a self-starter, yet able to follow instructions as directed
*EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS*
* High School Diploma, Technical School or equivalent
* Must be available to work day or evening shifts, one weekend/month, call-outs, and overtime
