National Garden Service, founded in 2019, is a full-service, live goods merchandising company that provides exclusive outdoor floral services for The Kroger Company (and subsidiaries) nationwide.

Our Focus: “Excellence in Merchandising, Excellence in Care – Quality Plants Cared For by Quality Professionals” This position will service the following Kroger location(s): * *Clute, TX* As a Live Goods Merchandiser, your workday will include: * Receive and stage a variety of outdoor plants and flowers * Build and maintain product displays * Water all plant materials * Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed * Keep product neatly organized * Ensure proper signage is in place * Maintain a safe and clean display area * Markdown product according to schedule * Remove and record expired plant material * Interacting with store personnel and customers * Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates * Complete report for each store serviced * Document every visit using the Repsly app As a Live Goods Merchandiser, you will be required to: * Have a smart phone * Download and use required Apps on a daily basis * The ability to work with a variety of personalities * Have dependable transportation * Have a valid driver’s license * Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively * Understand and execute planograms * Work outdoors in all elements Our ideal candidates will demonstrate the following: * Strong communication skills * Highly organized * Detail Oriented * Creative * Responsible, reliable and dependable work habits * Self-starter / Self-motivated * Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision * Previous merchandiser experience appreciated – will train strong candidates To find out more about National Garden Service, please visit our website www.
