Processing Room Manager

Job description Texas Pride Processing is looking for a new team member who is used to a fast-paced environment.
We are a slaughterhouse and whole animal processor.
We are looking for someone with experience in breaking down an animal into primal, sub primal and fabricating cuts.
We want someone who has a passion for the industry and takes pride in their work.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 Qualifications: Previous experience in a supervisory role within the meat processing industry Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety regulations Flexibility to work weekends during deer season Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the processing line Train new members on operations such as vacuum sealing, cleaning meat, trimming, deboning, using the saw and various other pieces of equipment.
Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed Maintain a clean and organized department environment Experience: 2 + years’ experience in position or equivalent roles.
