*Responsibilities:*
- Oversee all aspects of venue day of operations
- Manage the event held at the venue, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to bartender staff/ assist bar manager
- Assist planner/coordinator for any day of help
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and staff
- Collaborate with other vendors to ensure seamless coordination of operations
- Ensure all rules, regulations and policies are being executed by yourself, venue staff, vendors and wedding guests (dim lights, turn up AC, watch for rules being broken, etc.
)

- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively reflect the venue beliefs

*Details:*
We are a wedding venue located in Anderson, TX just 15 minutes outside of college station! We are looking for people oriented part-time employees who would love to oversee our venue during weddings.
This is a part-time role, only offering hours on the weekends! (With occasional week day events).
There is a morning/day shift where you arrive 30 minutes prior to the arrival of the wedding party to unlock everything, turn lights on etc.
You then monitor the day as vendors arrive, brides have requests etc.
Your main role during this shift is to ensure questions are answered and rules are followed (no dragging tables etc.
) This is a fun part of the day as you are able to watch the wedding set up first hand!
The afternoon/evening shift is where you relieve the day shift 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.
Here you make sure vendors do not need any last minute help, assist the bride walking down the aisle if necessary.
Monitor our in-house bar staff during cocktail hour and see if they need assistance grabbing supplies etc.
you then monitor the remainder of the event, checking doors to see if they are left open, dimming lights, answering questions from the planner, taking videos for our social media etc.
This role stays till all the guests and bar staff are gone (typically around midnight or later, but our goal is midnight at the latest.
) You and the bar manager stay till the end making sure lights are turned off and doors are locked!
This role, both day and evening shift are interchangeable depending on your preference and schedule! We require that you work around three events per month during peak seasons.
We do all our scheduling online and will train you to make sure you are well equipped with any questions and scenarios on the wedding day!
