The Sporting Goods Lead will oversee the Sporting Goods department.
Initiates outstanding sales and service, and maintains exceptional store appearance and cleanliness.
Assists all customers within Federal and State guidelines.
Creates and supports a teamwork environment.
As a Murdoch's Team Member in this role, you will.

Meet and greet each and every customer within 3 minutes.
Provide consistent quality customer service ensuring a successful shopping experience.
Merchandise and freight stocking.
Oversee upkeep and organization of department – including recovery.
Demonstrate product knowledge and load-outs are critical to the success of this position.
Self–training assessments and evaluations.
Complete other duties as needed.
Create and maintain a safe environment for customers and employees
Requirements:
As a Murdochian in this role, you must.

Be able to legally own a firearm (see attached addendum).
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of guns (types, calibers, actions, etc.
) and willingness to learn about them.
Possess the ability to drive gun sales and related items.
Adhere to all Murdoch’s firearms safety rules and regulations.
Stay up to date on all firearm trends and hard goods.
Take a consultative sales approach (i.
e.
- no personal bias toward a particular manufacturer).
Be community-driven and willing to work with groups and/or individuals to promote our store.
Demonstrate strong communication (written, oral and interpersonal skills).
