General Summary: To serve the public, work closely with the judges and the court administrators to obtain timely disposition of all court cases and ensure accurate clerical record keeping for the District Clerk’s office in accordance with applicable departmental procedures, regulations, laws, and statutes.
Essential Duties: Maintain and Disburse funds held in the Registry of the Court including but not limited to investment accounts and registry account; Maintain and Disburse funds held in the Bail Bond account; Compile monthly reports for the District Clerk’s office, Collection’s office, and Traffic Appeals; Maintain and handle the District Clerk’s Calendar and travel arrangements; Process and file all Search Warrants and Administrative Orders; Sorts and distributes faxes daily; Assists the public in person, by telephone, and by mail concerning department information, researching records, filling out forms, and resolving relevant problems; Assists public in conducting research; Assists the public in locating records, explains various terms and documents, and refers the public to legal counsel when appropriate; Performs general clerical duties as required, including filing, scanning, indexing, and recording information, making copies (including certified copies), and sorting and distributing mail; Issues citations, subpoenas, writs, abstracts, notices, and other legal documents.

Supervision Received: From District Clerk Given: This is a supervisory position.
Supervisor for felony, appeals, expunctions, OCA reporting, and Nondisclosure Departments.
In charge of all financial obligations in the District Clerk’s office.
Handles all personnel actions including but not limited to new employees, changes to existing employees positions, and computer user forms.
Supervises the records office at the Administration Building, all searches, and the Attorney General department.
Handles all time off requests and submits payroll.
This position also serves as the court liaison between the District Clerk’s office and the Courts.
Education Required: High school graduation or its equivalent.
