Hi all! We’re ready to start brewing again! Why is ALL-NATURAL better than synthetic?? πŸ‘‡πŸ‘€ Plants send 40-80% of all the sugars they produce through photosynthesis out into the soil through their roots.
These sugars are used by the plant to grow the microbes in the rhizosphere (area right around the roots) and the plant can directly nurture a species depending on what exudate (the sugar juice) specifically it sends out.
These bacteria and fungi have enzymes that they use to take off nutrients from the sand, silt, clays, and then they trade the nutrient for the plant sugar.
It's completely symbiotic.
When a plant is fed synthetic fertilizers, it has everything it needs for the short term.
The plant gets greedy and doesn't send out the sugars (because why spend the energy to feed microbes when you have everything you need?).
As a consequence, the microbes starve.
Rabbit Tea Fertilizer $8.
75/gallon Recommend 2-4 gallons of fertilizer per acre diluted with non-chlorinated water (well water ok).
Works out to $17.
