Lochow Ranch Pond & Lake Management has an exciting opportunity for a qualified driver who is looking for something different.
Lochow Ranch is seeking an experienced CDL driver to transport and deliver live fish to some of the most beautiful properties in Texas and the surrounding states as part of our Fisheries Management Plan.
Our fish trucks are comfortable, easy to handle, 40 ft, automatic transmission straight trucks.
Drivers must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include some overtime and weekends.
Safe driving is essential.
Hauling season runs from April 1st through the end of May (8 weeks).
Paid on-the-job training is provided for fish stocking with no prior experience required.
Qualifications:
* Must be at least 21 years old
* Experienced drivers only
* Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
* Must have current valid DOT Physical
* Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
* No current CDL suspension or revocation
* Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & good DAC Report
* Successfully pass a background check
* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
* Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
* Must have personal transportation to Bryan TX for route start
