Floral Delivery Driver

University Flowers & Gifts is a retail florist that has served the Bryan/College Station area for over 35 years.
Our team is dedicated to creating floral arrangements for every occasion, including weddings, events, everyday needs, and funerals.
We’ve been a stable partner of not only our local community but also several departments of Texas A&M University for years.
Our business is growing and we are now hiring a full-time delivery driver to join our team.
Major responsibilities will include making delivering that are time sensitive, taking orders and interacting with customers, learning basic floral terms, delivering fresh arrangements in the Brazos County area, and helping keep the van, design and customer's space maintained.
*You will be expected to:* * Work 35-40 hours a week as a lead driver * Learn or use your knowledge of floral designs to identify arrangements and quality check before they leave our store * Help determine the best practices for vehicle maintenance and delivery routing * Assist in processing florals as they arrive from wholesalers * Communicate with customers over the phone and in person to take orders and answer questions * Be able to work independently and efficiently once trained * Have great customer service * Mow and maintain the yard in front of the store * Stock vases and other items in the store as needed *Qualifications:* * *Must have an up to date Driver's License and C class certification* * 2-3 Years of experience in a customer service focused position * Must have a clean driving record * Excellent attention to detail * Able to carry 40lbs * Able to work standing for extended periods * Computer literate (knowledge of Google Sheets a plus) * Be punctual and have a positive & dedicated attitude * Willing to work in small teams *Please send questions, resumes, and portfolios to:* Grace Delgado, Operations Manager | universityflowers@gmail.
