*Cashier:*
You are the smiling faces and loud voices that our arriving guests will be greeted with upon their entrance.
After our guest has been greeted with “Welcome to the Cookshack!” their journey through the menu starts with you asking one simple question, “Have you ever had Hot Chicken?” You will be responsible for knowing our menu and describing the dishes in detail as our guests have questions.
You will be responsible for walking our guests through the menu experience all while multitasking and ringing the order in simultaneously.
After you have completed the order and reviewed it with the customer, we will begin cooking their food to order.
Then the final steps will be to get the guest their cups and fill it with ice all while helping them navigate the restaurant.
*Main Areas of Responsibility:*
· The “Perfect” Greet
· The initial guest experience
· Opening and Closing and balancing cash drawers.
· Taking Orders and ringing them up accurately
· Ice Control
· Food Knowledge of every dish
· Performing Ambassador duties when needed
*Ambassador:*
You are key personnel in the overall guest experience.
Your primary task will be elevating our guest experience, from properly running food to offering fresh cracked pepper on our grand salads, always keeping the guest in mind first.
You will frequently check the restaurant to see if we can get our guest refills on drink items, take trash away on the tables, offering to-go boxes for customers if they appear to be finished.
Finally, ask if they would like anything else that may include Aunt Peggy’s Ice Cream Sandwich to help cool their mouth down from the hot chicken & ribs.
Once our guest has had great food and an even more amazing experience your other task will begin.
You are responsible for double-checking the restrooms & dining areas for cleanliness and ensuring all items on the beverage station are restocked and ready for our next guest.
You will need to anticipate our guest needs so that we show why we are the best in the overall guest experience.
*Main Areas of Responsibility:*
· Greet before being Greeted
· Running Hot food to our guests when the ticket is complete
· Describing the dishes to our guests as they are being presented to them
· Elevated Service
· Offering refills
· Table maintenance (trash removal)
· Offering to go boxes
· Cleaning/Maintain the main dining area, restrooms & floors
· Restocking items during the shift on the beverage station as they begin to run low
· Refilling ice on the beverage station
· Food Knowledge of every dish
· Ability to plate every dish
· Additional tasks may be required per management
Various tasks and duties may be added beyond the above job description.
