Part-time Closer - Childcare Center

The Child Development Center at St.
Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish seeks caring, nurturing individuals to fill the role of Closer.
We are urgently hiring for two part-time positions.
The person in the Closer position will care for children in various age groups during the last two hours our center is open.
The ideal candidate for this position will be passionate about caring for children and ensuring they have a safe and warm environment.
The hours for this position are 4pm-6pm, Monday through Friday (approximately 10 hours per week).

Summary of Essential Job Functions Supervise children in your care at ALL times, ensuring health and safety.
Maintain a safe environment that is orderly, clean, and sanitary for the children.
Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined by the Child Development Center, the Diocese of Austin, Health and Human Services (Licensing), and the Health Department to assure compliance for state certification and accreditation for our childcare center.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Able to work 4pm-6pm, Monday through Friday.
Complete a minimum of 24 hours of required training each year (provided by our childcare center).
Have at least 6 months' experience in a licensed childcare facility or school setting OR be willing to obtain 8 hours of pre-service training.
Pass FBI fingerprinting and background checks.
Obtain CPR/First Aid Training.
Complete Ethics & Integrity in Ministry (EIM) training.
