Job Description
We need a qualified adjunct faculty to teach ACCT 3334 (Ethics for Accountants) course in spring 2024.
Responsibilities:
Teach state board approved ethics course (ACCT 3334 - Ethics for Accounting).
Opportunities for teaching an additional course (Managerial Accounting ) may also be available.
Keep records, post grades (mid-term & final), submit attendance reporting, and mentor students.
Posts and maintains office hours.
Other duties as assigned by department head.
Required Education & Experience:
Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in accounting courses, CPA certification (active).
Prior teaching experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use virtual technology and related software to support online teaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in Accounting
CPA/CMA certification
One year prior teaching experience.
