*Key Responsibilities:* * Collecting timesheet data and payroll information * Ensure all manual adjustments are documented and entered * Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, as needed * Preparing and processing paychecks * Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions * Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related inquiries or concerns * Performing payroll reconciliations * Review and validate quarterly and annual payroll reports * Ability to meet critical business deadlines * Ability to act with a sense of urgency * Make sound decisions with little guidance when presented with a problem * Interact with clients daily * Assist team by utilizing time management skills for appointments, scheduling and timely communications with respect to contacting and returning customer calls and emails.
* Invoice clients * Process client payments and deposits and follow process through QuickBooks.
* Assist with various tasks and projects: Email campaigns, management projects, bookkeeping, etc.
*Key Qualifications:* * Minimum 1 year experience processing payroll for multiple clients in a variety of industries * Strong appreciation for and standard of confidentiality of our clients and their information * Attention to detail * Experience working with both Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop applications * Strong oral and written communication skills * Maintain professionalism in face-to-face communication * Flexible and able to handle ad hoc issues that may arise * Team player able to develop rapport and credibility with team members * Positive attitude and people oriented * Strong computer knowledge and experience with MS Office (especially Excel and Word) * Regular, consistent attendance * Ability to perform duties seamlessly and multi-task with limited direction after training period * Show a desire to be a productive, long term asset to our company * Must pass background check Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $12.
