*Description*
We’re in search of a qualified and resourceful HR generalist to support our accounting department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.
The HR generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions, such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits.
*Objectives of this Role*
* Assist in development and execution of personnel procedures and policies.
* Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
* Suggest new procedures and policies to improve organization efficiency and employee experience.
* Ensure legal compliance of employee related state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws.
* Update policies and/or procedures as required.
*Daily and Monthly Responsibilities*
* Facilitate new hire onboarding process, including scheduling and document preparation.
* Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews.
* Manage HR information systems.
Duties include data entry and auditing for accuracy, compliance, and account reconciliation.
* Assist in communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, directory, and organizational chart.
* Act as the primary payroll processor.
*Skills and Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
* Additional HR training or experience is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ethics.
* Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office, QuickBooks is a plus.
