*Duties/Responsibilities*
* Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements

g.
income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements.
* Provide comprehensive financial updates to executives by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting on financials and target metrics
* Conduct and report on financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
* Prepares budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing and consolidating financial data, for partner review and approval
* Provide regular forecasts and insights into future financial performance
* Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
* Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and recommend tactics for targeted improvement
* Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operations and strategic initiatives
* Collaborate with the COO to establish and monitor key financial and operational metrics, budgets, revenue receipts, costs, and expenditures.
* Oversee and support the accounting team.
* Support the achievement of financial goals.
* Coordinate activities of tax and accounting consultants, with guidance from partners
* Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions
* Oversee and manage team growth by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training current and new team members
* Manage personnel through coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising effectiveness/productivity
* Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
*Qualifications*
*Education/Licensure*
* Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field required.
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
*Experience*
* 10+ years of professional accounting experience
* 5+ of which are in a senior-level accounting/controller capacity
* Understanding of national and local tax regulations and compliance requirements
* Experience managing financial processes (e.
g.
payroll, payables, receivables) with a focus on streamlining and accuracy
* Experience with Contract/Job-Cost Accounting, preferably in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction industry
* Experience with using financial software and Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) systems
* Experience working with legal entities under different legal umbrellas.

Salary: $90,000.
